WELCOME!!!

Thank you for visiting our Reading Strategies How To blog. We have created “How-To” guides (supplemented with video) for three different reading strategies that can be incorporated into your classroom:

Shared Book Reading

Learning Experience Approach

Directed Reading/Thinking Activity

For this project we were lucky enough to visit and film these strategies with a real grade 3/4 classroom. We would like to say a big thank you to the students who participated in our videos, you were all wonderful.

Please take the time to check out our blog. We hope that you are able to use these reading strategies in your classroom. We have also included three different lesson plans and a page of resources that you could possibly use as well.

Enjoy!

Sara, Daniella, Bethann
